Steve injured himself at work when he fell after losing his balance and, while trying to break his fall, impacted with a step down wall which resulted in his thumb being awkwardly dislocated. Steve was without work for 13 months while he underwent rehabilitation through frequent visits to an orthopaedic surgeon.
